About Course

This comprehensive 6-week UI/UX Design course is designed to take students through the core principles of user interface and user experience design. From understanding design fundamentals to mastering tools like Figma, students will learn to create intuitive, visually appealing, and user-centered designs. The course covers key topics such as color theory, prototyping, wireframing, user testing, and design systems. By the end of the course, students will gain hands-on experience in designing websites and mobile apps, culminating in a final project showcasing their skills. Personalized feedback and certification will ensure students are prepared to tackle real-world design challenges confidently.

Course Content

Week 1
In Week 1, we will cover the basics of UI/UX design, including the roles and differences between UI and UX. We will also explore key design principles, conduct UX research, create wireframes, and understand essential UX laws, heuristics, and design systems for effective interfaces.

Week 2
In Week 2, you will explore advanced UI/UX concepts, including design systems, color theory, and alignment. You’ll learn to set up and navigate Figma, use shapes, grids, and auto layout, and focus on building a strong UI/UX portfolio.

Week 3
In Week 3, you will master advanced prototyping in Figma by designing interactive UI elements, learning Auto Layout and constraints, creating dynamic prototypes with Smart Animate, and adding page transitions and overlays for a polished user experience.

Week 4
In Week 4, you will enhance your skills with Smart Animate, page transitions, and overlays. You’ll master UI design best practices, collaborate in Figma, and work on wireframing, designing a web landing page, and an end-to-end mobile UI project.

Week 5
In Week 5, you will focus on finalizing your design skills. You'll work on designing mobile and web UIs, creating a dashboard UI, and developing a small design system. The week includes working on a full UI/UX case study, refining your designs, and incorporating peer feedback for iteration and improvement.

Week 6
In Week 6, you'll finalize your UI/UX portfolio, prepare for interviews, and practice with common questions and tasks. You'll also explore Canva basics, learning to use templates, elements, and customizing typography and colors for polished designs.

Week 7
In Week 7, you’ll design social media posts, explore image editing tools, and create animated content. You'll learn to apply transitions, design animated stories, and build professional slide decks. The week ends with a final project in animation.

Week 8
This officially marks the end of our course. We will have certification and award program. We will share our resources with you to ease your journey. All the best.
